For the annual 4th of July Sidewalk Sale at Cliché, expect deals on styles from spring and past seasons going for $5-30 from everyone's favorite local boutique. Last year's turnout was bigger than expected, so get there early to get first dibs on deals and avoid the crowd.

Pumpz & Co. will have a 50 percent off sale at their Galleria location...Uptown boutique Intoto is taking final spring/summer markdowns on both its women's and menswear of 50-70% off...Both the Highland Park and 50th & France locations of Stephanie's are having a progressive sale (buy more, save more)...At Elsworth Menswear, all Helmut Lang and Gypsy 05 is at 70% off...Grand Avenue shop Picky Girl just took fresh summer markdowns...Many of the stores at Albertville Premium Outlets will take 25-65% off their usual savings during the July 4 weekend sale, Thursday through Monday.

H&M has just been announced as coming to Southdale. The “full concept store” will be the Twin Cities’ third H&M location in addition to Mall of America and Woodbury Lakes Mall; it’s set to open this October.

Drama recently closed its doors to relocate from Gaviidae Common to the former location of Status in Uptown (1203 Lagoon Av., Minneapolis). High-end sneaker boutique Status recently made the move to the Mall of America.
